Who We Are
The Nohow Singers
The Nohow line-up has changed several times over the years, but always comprises the best of local amateur musical talent. Each member of Nohow has played in musicals for over 20 years.
The Nohow Story
How it all started
Nohow began in 1989 when Don and Nora Howcroft created a one-off charity show. But it was so popular they have performed ever since and have raised more than £100,000 for charities.
Nohow Productions are a singing group based in Bolton, Lancashire, raising money for charity by presenting concerts of songs from musicals, films and pop standards.
Each year the group gives three sell-out performances of their Christmas show at their home base at Walmsley Church Parish Hall, Bolton. They often take their show on the road during the following year, playing private gigs at various locations in the North West.
Nohow have performed at the Libori Festival in Paderborn, Germany and at private concerts in the Loire Valley, France. They have sung at the Bolton Christmas Lights Celebrations, at Bolton Christmas Markets and, as part of the Radio Manchester World War One at Home event, they gave three performances in Albert Square, Manchester.
They have also released two CDs, the profits of which went to the Willow Foundation and Bolton Hospice.
